Dr. Dan was born and raised in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. In 2014 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then worked in research at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota studying the mechanisms of aging and ways to help people and animals live longer healthier lives. With a passion for medicine, a love for animals, and a desire to see more of the country, he headed east to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech and graduated in 2022. Now that he is in Eugene, he is looking forward to all that Oregon has to offer.
Dr. Dan is Fear Free Certified Level 1 and enjoys making veterinary visits a positive experience for both pets and owners.
When he is not in the clinic, Dr. Dan enjoys spending time with his two cats, Cinder and Solaire, as well as playing video games, traveling, hiking, camping, and playing guitar.
