Customer Service Representative

Pay: $19.00

Job description:

At Four Corners Veterinary Clinic, we’re proud to be a privately owned and operated practice. Our independence allows us to create a workplace that prioritizes balance, respect, and long-term career satisfaction — because we know this field can be demanding, and we believe in building an environment where veterinary professionals can thrive for years to come.

We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. While the CSR position does not involve hands-on animal care, this role is essential to the client and patient experience. Team members in this position will learn a significant amount of veterinary terminology, clinic protocols, and basic medical concepts — so a passion for animal care and a desire to understand the veterinary field are important.

Our clinic provides high-quality, compassionate medicine with a thoughtful blend of conventional and alternative therapies. We take pride in thorough diagnostics, individualized care, and a collaborative approach across our entire team. Our CSRs play a central part in this by creating a smooth, supportive, and professional experience for clients from their very first interaction.

Four Corners is filled with dedicated animal lovers who work hard, laugh often, and support each other every day. We strive to maintain a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere where each team member can grow, contribute, and feel valued. Creating balance isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we intentionally protect.

  • Prepare and update patient files and client financial records; receive and relay client messages accurately.

  • Admit and discharge patients, generate invoices, process payments, and review estimates or treatment plans with clients clearly and empathetically.
  • Assist with certificates, forms, and other required documentation.
  • Provide basic guidance on routine care questions, over-the-counter products, and preventive care.
  • Learn and correctly use common veterinary terms and procedures for effective communication with both clients and staff.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to stay composed in a busy environment.
  • Receptive to feedback and willing to support teammates.
  • Ability to learn veterinary terminology and clinic workflows quickly.
  • Basic computer competency; ability to type at least 30 wpm.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Comfort working around animals, noises, odors, and occasional exposure to animal waste or communicable conditions.
