Dr. Xander Omoto

Dr. Xander Omoto earned his undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences with a Leadership minor from Oregon State University in 2019. During his time there, he led an interactive seminar on conflict resolution in veterinary medicine and defended an Honors thesis focused on mortality in neonatal kittens. He went on to receive his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University in 2023, where he completed a senior project centered on leadership and diversity in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Xander’s professional interests include hospice and palliative care, behavior, and internal medicine with an emphasis on chronic disease management. He also enjoys mentoring pre-veterinary and veterinary students. What Dr. Xander finds most fulfilling about being a veterinarian is collaborating with clients and coworkers to help pets live healthier lives and mentoring veterinary students.

Originally from the Willamette Valley, he has always loved working with animals but discovered in college how deeply he values the human side of veterinary medicine — building relationships, guiding families through difficult decisions, and supporting both pets and the people who love them.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys exploring new parks and trying new foods. He shares his life with Marsha, his mini retriever mix who loves digging and rolling in the sand at the beach.

Dr. Xander looks forward to meeting you and your pets and becoming part of the Four Corners community.
